Community Foundation for Delta County Board Member, Mr. Will Carne, Sr., presents a check from the Community Foundation for Delta County April Grants round for $1,400.00 to the City of Gladstone Parks Department Director, Mr. Jason Davis for their Kayak & Paddle Board Project.

Mr. Davis stated, “We are very grateful to the Community Foundation for Delta County, and their Grants Committee, for their generosity in awarding the grant application we submitted for our Kayak & Paddle Board Project”. He continued, “We are going to use the funds we received from the community foundation to build a multi-unit rack for storing kayaks and paddle boards near the Van Cleve Park & Gladstone Beach lagoon. We’ll also be purchasing both kayaks and paddle boards and offering rental usage to the public”.

“The Community Foundation for Delta County and its Grants Committee was happy to approve the grant application received by the City of Gladstone. We like to see projects that offer opportunities to the public to try new things and enjoy the great outdoors,” stated Mr. Carne, Sr.
